By downloading or using DailyChess ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its bundled content except as permitted by law or by the open licenses noted below.

4. Content and attribution

Chess puzzles are derived from the Lichess open puzzle database, released under CC0. The chess piece artwork is the cburnett set by Colin M.L. Burnett, used under the BSD license.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Puzzle ratings and coaching are provided for practice and entertainment and are not guaranteed to be error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DailyChess and its developer are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted here with its date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
